Enea Announces dSPEED Platform 2.0

    The dSPEED Platform

    • Full feature platform for controlling, monitoring and debugging DSP farms
    • Handle and manage errors to preserve robustness in high channel density systems
    • To debug and manage multiple DSP farms (blades) from a system wide perspective
    • Find the root cause of a problem when debugging distributed heterogeneous systems
    • Fully scalable to the largest DSP farms
    • Extends services of OSEck Enea’s advanced DSP RTOS
    • Integrated with Enea’s Element HA Middleware
    • Leverage Enea’s LINX high performance IPC

    Off the Shelf dSPEED Platform™

Enea has developed a pre-integrated software platform for data plane processing targeting communications infrastructure line cards found in:

    Base stations – E.g. 3G deployments (e.g. WCDMA, TD-SCDMA), 802.16d/e WiMAX, High-Speed Packet Access (HSPA), and Long-Term Evolution (LTE).
Carrier infrastructure – E.g. Media gateways, Packet gateways in broadband applications, Transcoding functions in 3G wireless networks.

    Full Feature Solution

The dSPEED Platform™ allows for efficient, comprehensive management of clustered DSP solutions extending the capabilities of Enea’s industry leading DSP RTOS OSEck with services that include: start up and configuration, error handling, monitoring and supervision, event notification, logging and trace, diagnostics and statistics, infield post mortem debug and comprehensive suite of inter-process and network communications technologies.  In addition, the DSP manager can be integrated with Enea’s Element Middleware to provide high availability services to remote DSP nodes in the data plane.

    Flexible Deployment Modes

The dSPEED Platform is also an integral part of the Enea Accelerator Platform™ for Next Generation Network element design.  The platform can be implemented in many configurations ranging from standalone DSP platform based on OSEck RTOS with or without a management host processor including LINX interprocess communications (IPC) services to a complete solution with Enea Element.
